STEEL GUITAR FROM AUSTIN, TX
Marty Muse is an Austin,TX based steel guitarist with a wide range of experience in the music industry. His pedal steel, lap steel, and Dobro playing can be found on the recordings of many of the top artists from Austin in the past 20 years. For the past 8 years he has been touring and recording with famed singer/songwriter Robert Earl Keen.
Comfortable playing many different styles. Whether doing background music for a Walter Cronkite voiceover, a session with punk rock pioneer Jello Biafra, or the straight ahead country of the Derailers, finding the right sound for the song is always the primary objective.
